Gayle has 120+. Maybe UAE aren't employing any fielders.

Shai Hope has retired injured.

WI can't lose this with 357 on the board.

Zimbabwe struggling v Afghanistan. Rashid is back, with three wickets in bowling Zimbabwe out in 43 overs for 196.

Seem a good outside chance to qualify.

Another win for the Scots, but making hard work of chasing 96 v HK.

151/235 for PNG's Tony Ura is a fine effort against Ireland. Ireland on course to win though.

Looks like UAE are batting to lose v. WI and protect their NRR.

No. They needed 3 runs still with 4 balls left when Zimbabwe bowled them out. Classic.

Afghanistan are not making the best start following their promotion to Test status.

Afghanistan are almost out already. Probably between West Indies, Zimbabwe, Ireland and Scotland now.

What on earth is happening to Afghanistan?! Good to see Zim winning some games though, WI bowling attack needs work though, no way should they be letting UAE score nearly 300..

Afghan keeper Shahzad banned for rest of tournament, due to his reaction to being dismissed, when he made in a divot in an adjoining wicket

TBH for the people wanting 12–14 team World Cup Afghanistan not qualifying is probably a good thing considering icc ideally want them in the World Cup.
Them not making it would probably make them make sure afghanistan makes it in future competition and if Afghanistan is a force in world cricket which is likely in 8-10 yrs time they should be at a similar level to Bangladesh are now then obviously 10 team World Cup can’t work considering we got 12-13 good teams at the moment.
Really poor that when icc got 12-14 good odi teams that World Cup is a closed event.

Not a good batting day so far. Poor starts for PNG, NL, HK and Nepal. Though the stronger teams are all bowling, give or take whether UAE or NL are better.

Any predictions for who will qualify for the WC?
