Scotland continue their impressive run, and are well placed. One more win should see them qualify, but their remaining games are against Ireland and WI, no easy task. Still, if you can't beat the top teams in the tournament, you don't deserve to qualify. UAE are eliminated as a result.

Afghanistan stay alive by the skin of their teeth, but the odds are against them. Still, it's getting towards must-win territory for every team, every game now. The loser of Zimbabwe Ireland today can still qualify, but it will be tough, and Scotland can probably qualify on one out of two wins. But in the next round, it will become lose and go home for most teams.

This is proving to be quite a compelling tournament. Just goes to show further proof (if any was needed) of the idiocy of the ICC in only allowing two of these teams to the WC.

I'm calling WI and Scotland. I fancy Scotland to sneak a win over Ireland. That said, the winner of Zim/Ireland tonight will be in a good position. As a neutral, I (and I think most) would like to see Afghanistan make the WC, but despite their win yesterday, it's a tough ask for them - even if they win their remaining games, they need other results to favour them.

Great start for Ireland with Zimbabwe 95-5. Irish pace attack having a good tournament.

Ireland four down. No RR pressure but can they get 212?

Ireland should be embarrassed. Probably their World Cup dreams over.

Poor from Ireland. Very poor. They can still qualify in theory, but they need a lot of other results to go their way.

Netherlands restricted to less than 200.

Papua new Guinea restricted to 200.

Can Nepal and Hong Kong do better?

Sky cricket channel 514 on Virgin if that is any help.

Balbirnie hit a century as Ireland set an imposing target of 272.
