NZ will go through with 175. England will qualify if NZ get 174.

Hmm, the pace bowlers have been shredded in the PP. If the spinners don't produce a miracle, England are out.

The England pace bowlers do better at the end of the innings than at the start and win a close game.

And get to go home a few days early.

Only England players going home are Plunkett and Wood and thats because they are crocked. The other seamers are staying on, with Woakes joining the team.

I think only Curran has been on all the tour? Unless Malan was drafted into the ODI side. Don't think anyone else has has played since November.

Tom Curran isn't in the Test squad v NZ but has been in every squad since the start of the Ashes. Malan has been in every squad so far and will only miss the ODIs v NZ, unless he is called up.

Agar did well.

Australia shouldn't have a problem chasing this down. This looks like a good pitch.

Lynn injured again.

From what I had seen on Cricinfo before leaving work, they did terribly to only get that far. The rot must have set in as soon as I stopped keeping an eye on things, as they were at fifty before the end of the 4th over, I think.

To only make another 100 from 16 overs is a poor return. Maybe Aus did well to restrict them to so low a score.

although DL merely decided the margin, not the outcome. That had been a given for some overs.
