Three to go. And the next is in Wellington at the Westpac where England have never won.

So, a very small ground.

Taylor is out for NZ.

Wood is a touch expensive so far.

Should be a cakewalk at the Cake Tin for NZ. No one going past 50 for England though most got a start.

This looks a topsy-turvy game with NZ 103-6 and then choking at the end after an epic recovery. Choke to Woakes.

Mo and Rashid's bowling might make England rethink their frequent logic that they leave out a spinner on small grounds.

NZ 80-1 ------> 103 for six at the hands of the spinners.

scorecard suggests a decent game.

I'm guessing it was all rather tense at the end

if so, it makes a mockery of the notion that short boundaries and more sixes equals better entertainment

Woakes sees it through this time :) (although he did have 15 runs to play with, there was a six, but also some fine yorkers that Kane couldn't get hold of).

You have to feel a bit sorry for Kane, but to be honest, chasing a relatively low target there is no way you should fail with a top order player still batting and wickets in hand. Should have had a bit more of a go in the last few overs.

England put in to bat on a grassy surface. Boult could be a handful here...

I see Roscoe is back for NZ.

Great start for England, who I think are unchanged.

131-1 off 20 would have been a good start even for Gilchrist, Hayden and Ponting.

191 at half way. Outside chance of 400.

Hundred up for Bairstow, off 86 balls.

Root getting a move on now. 21 off six.

JB goes. 400 is looking a bit far away; 133 needed off 12.

The other JB moves to number 4. Where he should always bat.

Buttler goes for a duck, and England's chances of 400 probably go too. Right move promoting him though.

Superb knock by YJB :salute

There's still more than enough batting for 350+ to be on, barring a collapse (which is always a possibility with England). The Kiwis do have form chasing big totals at home, and Dunedin is a small ground...
