Great ball to get rid of Bairstow, just got to accept that you get those deliveries some times.

Another sick looking scorecard for England. Root getting runs so far the only positive.

As bad as the English bats have been, the parts of this match i have watched the Pakistan bowlers have consistently hit a better length than the English bowlers.

Buttler blocks a few then realises there's an absence of dress in the crowd....time for a slog

These 2 are looking pretty comfortable. England look like they are taking it into another day. How many runs would it take for Pakistan to start to worry....

England need a 200 lead I think.

Another 50 (but not 100) for Root.

Wonder if these two have crossed paths before with Buttler being ex Somerset.

Buttler is in the old Botham position, offering the illusion of hope as the team sinks into the quicksand.

With the England tail, if one of these two goes early in the morning, they might be lucky to set an 80 run target

pity he won't take 5 wickets for one run in the Pakistan run chase

50 more runs and at least the bowlers have something to bowl at. Sure its not much, but its something.

England only need to get 9 wickets as well. Still all very unlikely but you never know.
