Sadly for England it looks like the fight has gone from them this morning.

Assuming bess won't get the ball in the second dig, isn't here a case for picking him as opener for next match after his score.

I think stonemans best is 60 isn't it....he's been outperformed by a tailender

63 to win....England best achievement would be to dent the confidence of a couple of top order players for next test

Not added anything overnight really

With the England tail, if one of these two goes early in the morning, they might be lucky to set an 80 run target

who could have known that I was being wildly optimistic

for crying out loud

how many did they add for the last 4 wickets.... half a dozen runs or something?

new depths being plumbed

had they held some of their catches, of course, they might have had an extra 100 runs to bowl at

No one really thought we had much hope this morning, no team loses a clutch of wickets like the England cricket team.

Nice to win one session out of 10!

Good start Ed Smith, some blinding selections.

If we drop out the top eight, will we lose our test status? Don't think many would care if we did.

there'll be a clause somewhere that protects England, Australia and India from their own incompetences.... guaranteed

Might make english cricket come out of the denial they had in the last 2-3 yrs.
been banging the drum a lot in the last 2-3 yrs, but they been pretty average in the last 4 yrs in test with SA being an outlier.
it was only a matter of time before they came crashing to an all time low with the way they were picking players, performance and even the county standards and schedule.
