Just as I posted that, Curran is given his cap. So Stokes doesnt play, apparently he didnt even net today.

Someone tell me what curren brings to the team. Never seen him play, being a left hand bowler obviously brings in something different

Well he's a prospect. Was playing for Surrey at 17 and holding himself up well. Left arm, but different, should add batting depth to a normal team.

However, pace maybe a big question. He moves the ball, think he's skiddy, but lacks raw pace. He might develop that he's on 19

It's not a dumb pick overall, just he's replaced a much better batter in a team desperate for runs

Amazed that Pakistan elected to bat. Must be expecting the pitch to break up dramatically to not want to bowl first in this humid weather.
