50th over by David goes for 6 runs and a wicket.

What looked 350 for a chase is restricted to 310. Have to say England have fought back extremely well.

First ball of England batting innings goes for 4. Freebie. Nicely flicked past short fine leg.

They are bowling very poorly so far

England are 70 off 8.3 overs and haven't slogged once

Spraying it all over the show

Dangerous game, the one after winning the series. But there is a gulf in class out there, so I'm backing England.

Are we beyond the point where we assume England will cock things up?

Two weeks after they lost to Scotland.

Another quick 50 for Jason. Jonny too has scored more than run a ball. These two have given England a start which would be good even in T20 format.

87/0 in 11 overs.

England could binary bat the middle overs here.

50 for Jonny as well. England openers have done the job of setting the chase. Required run rate of just 5.5 rpo.

It's a pleasure to see a crowd at Chester-le-Street not wearing blankets.

Jason in 90's. 156/0 in 21.2 overs. Openers have scored more than half runs of the chasing target.

Last match he got out in 80's. Has a chance to get another one today.
