Interesting points. Without mentioning how expensive the spinners are compared with other sides'. England score a lot of runs in the middle overs, but concede a lot.
Yet they take a lot of wickets. Rashid, Plunkett (a middle overs bowler) are expensive but are among the best wicket takers around. Woakes has one of the best SRs too though less expensive.
England mainly need to look at Wood and WIlley. Willey was put there as a left armer as one of those magic solutions to the ignominy of the last WC. Will they look for another left armer? Are they addicted to the habit of batting to ten?
Perhaps Stokes shouldn't bowl as much as he is very expensive, though again a handy wicket taker.
