All bets are off with this series, I think. India are capable of folding in English conditions as much as England are reliably terrible in all conditions. Be nice to get a few close tests, but I have a feeling it will be one of those series of 5 crushing wins being spread between the teams.

Its a big series for India really. These have to be confident they can beat England at the moment. Be nice to see Kohli smash a huge score and shut people up. Be nice for the series actually, I can imagine if Virat gets into the first test and looks good, you might find all those unsold seats at other venues fill with a few Indians.

yeah would be disappointed if any team won 5-0 or 4-0 here.
suspect we gonna get a variety of conditions so it should be good 5 match series.

Cricinfo suggesting that the pitch is on the dry side, decent for batting, might give something first up to the seamers. Dobell suggesting a two spinner option might be the way to go

England haven't picked 2 spinners though.
Shanky and his mates are gonna have a melt down if the decks is dry and starts to turn.
Baffling how they thought it would be green decks and massively helping seam bowlers with the weather england having lately.

As if England was gonna doctor the wicket like SA did in Cape town.

Can't see England doctoring the wickets this year, think they just want to win first and try to win in any conditions and they probably thinking more long term with away wins rather than thrashing india 5-0 or 4-0 on helpful surfaces.

the most doctoring you gonna see was in Edgebaston and all they did was add *modded* loads of water to make the outfield flush and the wicket not too dry and looks like a normal english wickets.

looking at it both teams are probably desperate to win here.
if kohli and India fail here they last 4 yrs results go to a waste and they can't really do much again till another 2-3 yrs time.

looks like pujara will be dropped.
at least rahul playing.
could be a in and out in the side between pujara and dhawan in this series.
At least Rahul and Vijay playing though.

Yes Toss wents india way.
Don't really want india to win too many toss in england.
bloody hell the toss is the worse thing about the test in england you really don't know what to do Bat first or bowl first.
