When your out of nick, you dont want balls like that from Anderson. Pujara lost in no mans land, but then again I think every batsman would have been.

Sounds like a poor shot (according to Aggers and Tuffers).

Still not learning the lessons of playing a swinging ball.

India will be hoping Pujara gets a lot more than he got for Yorkshire. Twelve innings, 144 runs, no fifties.

Id say thats very harsh. The ball swings very late, and a long way. Vijay is looking to play a glance of his pads, and the ball ends up hitting his off stump. Even if hes playing straight, Andersons swing is probably beating his bat.

Pujara is leaving an canyon between bat and pad. Rather than try to get him snicking, id go straight at his stumps.

Another beauty. Just a classic swinger delivery.

I think it was the risk factor was too great. They were more critical of the shot than lauding the delivery. But that was live.

Holding and Atherton (and me) all seem to think you dont get many better balls than that.

When the ball moves like it has in Anderson's hand, overcast skies with a bit of drizzle, live grass on top of the pitch, new ball...... not sure the "indians cant play the moving ball" narrative is really that sensible. Id love to see Brian Lara, Tendulkar or Ponting survive long against this. Andersons bowled about 5 deliveries that even world class batsman would get nowhere near middling.

Key moment when they get out. If Kohli goes cheaply it's easy to imagine a double figure first innings while the clouds are overhead.

Another top order flop show. Neither shocked, nor surprised. Nothing different from South Africa tour. Playing with just one batsman who can bat in such conditions.

Hope home series starts soon.

Anderson was bowling some virtually unplayable deliveries there...India will be thankful for the rain break.

On the other hand it enables Jimmy to rest and resume his spell when it stops...
