hey...... perhaps they just wanted to give the punters some extra value for money?

we all know how test cricket likes to give the punters the very best value for money that it can

:coat

Can't get too worked up right now about it as they have got them six down.

Obviously if it rains for the next day and a half then people will go back to the decision to bat on.

But noone ever knows for sure how fate would have played out, it's possible India might now be 135/4 instead.

True. Though that's happened everywhere.

imo on flat tracks the shot selection issues are hugely negated due to lack of movement and the wicket taking deliveries turn out to be run scoring. So we see same batsmen scoring loads of runs on flat ones. These very same Dhawan's, Rahul , Pujara, Nair, Rahane will be seen scoring big knocks and making opponents bowl 150- 180 overs. And if the flat tracks are at home then the home bowling side benefits most of it having a more suited bowling attack for the home conditions.

In these conditions England are always going to be favorite. India needed to be playing this series a few weeks ago when the weather was much better.

Can anyone explain why Pakistan are competitive in England but India are not?

Woakes strikes.

India go past their first innings total.

Ashwin top scorer in the first innings, about the be the top scorer in the second.

Yet again, Ashwin shows how to bat. We miss Bhuvis batting as well this time.

England are taking revenge of innings loss suffered in India. Well done. :clap

Like when teams win like this. Thrash the opposition to the fullest on their days. Sadly now its we are at receiving end. :no

Kohli's injured back and Ashwin's damaged spinning finger isn't going to help India much either.

A total thrashing for India there. Innings and 157 runs, and only took 7 English wickets.

Though they probably had the worse of the conditions.

Big blow for India if they are ruled out....pathetic performance from India, and a massive 2-0 lead...5-0 certainly on!
