Should have 4 slips and a third man :strop

If they're good enough to drive straight, then so be it.

Lead of 232 runs. Have India as massive favorites to take the scoreline to 2-1.

Thought we would win at Lords and we had no chance here. But it is turning out vice versa.

Unless it's going to teem down Tuesday and Wednesday this is all over, even then there is a possibility that 18 wickets fall tomorrow, making days 4&5 redundant!

Hmm....

8 overs to polish India off
2 for the changeover
39 to bowl England out
2 for for the changeover
31 at India

82 overs

8 short

3 short yesterday

No need for either England or India to be embarrased about over rates, because the match will be over on day 3 and nobody will give a toss about them anyway

getting ever closer to that value for money utopia that is 78 overs in a day.

still..... half of the crowds these days are bladdered by 2pm anyway, and as long as they can keep their beer snakes away from security..... all's well!

just stupid old fart's like me who think that the people who pay everyone's wages are being treated with utter contempt, and that it is no surprise that the game is dying on its feet
