Not happy with the Vince selection...Moeen just scored a double ton, but IMO he should be part of twin spin attack at the rose bowl, and Joe Clarke has been in good form, don't get why they go back to Vince all the time..

Just seems like more confusion. Not picking Ali is right if they decided when dropping him he'd played 50 tests and wasn't good enough.which would be a fair assessment over that time.

But then going to Vince seems like going to a player you've written off three times, who didn't just have the game of his life, and who has an inferior record with less to offer.

Who knows, Vince could do a bairstow in south Africa. There is talent there. But so far he hasn't looked like being able to put that down into consistent test match form.

Not certain to play. JB1 might turn out as a batter only.

Vince. Just what we need in this cruddy batting line-up, another batsman who averages under 25.

I can understand why the selectors kept trying Ramps, as he was so prolific at county level. Vince doesn't even average 40 in FC cricket.

He'll probably make a pretty 60 now and get inked in for the whole winter.

As Smith is the new Lord Ted, maybe we'll get a couple of new caps for the Oval Test who will then never get picked again.
