sadly no, it was the croft, walsh, marshall ones lol.

I Think Walsh would still get a few of these English bats out if playing now. He would be well into his 50s?

Not sure Bairstow should be playing. If he was Sangakkara, you might be tempted to patch him up and get him on the field. But he's not. England should have picked a fit player I think.

Rose, Dillon and King probably would have played a combined 300 tests for England in the same era. Rose did ok but was seemingly dropped for not being instantly world class. Dillion the same, then brought back way past his prime that knocked his figures to look average. Reon King probably averaged high 20s and got dropped for no real reason for about 5 years, and again they picked him when he was finished.

Low 30s averages for a fast bowler.... Caddick, Hoggard, Harmison, Flintoff, Giles.... do any of these standout over those Windies lads?

Must have been tough being a Windies bowler from 1995-2000. The era of expectation, when averaging 30 made you a laughing stock still to this day (not a dig at you, but I think some people expect these names to have massively poor records, but they arent actually bad at all).

So, if going by the squad selected, that would have been Vince on his home ground.

England have a shocking record of selecting unfit players, both physically and mentally.

They have a shocking record of picking physically fit players at the moment too.

Picked Mo and Rashid, Root threw on Jennings to bowl first over them :facepalm

Probably sums everything up. The Captain doesnt want to hand the ball to either spinner he's been laden with, so throws it to a guy with 20 wickets in 8 years of FC cricket. Shows you how great the communication is between the leadership, while at the time showing showing how crap Root is as captain. If he didnt want either spinner, why are they playing?

Curran gets the big dog.... 142/3. Lead of nearly a 100 left.

England might fancy getting stuck into this middle low order

Rahane gone although it was a no ball, if they gave Bumrah a no ball for the root wicket then this should be a no ball as well.

Game swings towards England. 60-40 to India now maybe. But India should be filling their boots now with an older ball.

TBH wouldn't mind the call if they were being fair earlier though and consistent with the calling.

At best England going with the total being same in the first innings and the very worst conceding a 100+ deficit.

india still got pujara, pant, Pandya, Ashwin and they only trailing by 83.
india would need to be 163/6 or 7 for it to be 60-40 in england favour.

when you consider the footmarks for Ashwin developing not really looking good for england if india get a good lead.

Edit seems like I read the sentence wrong.
ok makes sense then with india 60- England 40.
