This is working so far.

I did say.

Looks like you were on the button.

Unless there's a late twist of fate.

86/6 and 140/2.

87/7 at Edgbaston.

Gonna hurt for a while

Can we replay the series and swap Bhuvi for Pandya?

9 wickets for Mooenalitharan.

Glad that this series is getting over soon. Went as expected and there were no changes in overall script which was another overseas loss.

We have played poorly imo. This is the worst batting lineup I have watched in overseas conditions since 3 decades.

2011/2014?

The ends of those series was comical and lacked fight

This was way worse - Chris Jordan with 7 wickets

Shocking that there are so many England batsmen who are averaging below 35 and still continue to get a spot in playing 11. Is it actually getting strong criticism in media over there ?

Better to forget everything after 2007.

The Dravid series, where only Dravid scored any runs, was the worst Indian batting I've seen over hear that I remember. 2011 it was.

Yep agreed, that was depressing.

You can legitimately have India favourites at 120/3 today but it didn't happen, I can't remember since in the last 3 tours here that we've fought England so close. Partly that is cos England are a lot weaker but Anderson and Broad haven't changed. I think we have to accept Pandya hasn't worked and go 6 batsman at the Oval, make this 3-2 and go home with a series still to remember.

Anyone at the Oval? I am for my sins. Picked Edgbaston, Lords and Oval to attend and missed India's sole win ffs.

Good side on paper, with SRT and MSD and Laxman (Sehwag and Yuvraj figured too). But Dravid passed three figures three times and no one else did it once. None of the other bats averaged over 35 and gave up without much of a fight after the second Test.

Hence The Wall's exalted reputation in the UK. Averaged 77.

Pretty equal series so far. I don't offer that as an endorsement of India so much though, as England have been very flawed and were good for the taking.

Great pace bowling from India. Whoever is coaching the quicks on this tour has got them in excellent shape.
