Well done Australia. They've had some luck, no doubt about that, but to bat out 140 overs in the 4th innings in Asia is remarkable.

Perhaps they would have lost if Pakistan enforced the follow on, but they needed a record breaking innings to not lose here. I don't think many expected this line up to break any records, other than fastest collapse.

Steve who?

A classic Pakistan team + An Australian team playing the game the right way = A classic Test

Bravo you Aussies. That's a hell of a save. Fresh start for UK as Aus's inked in number three?

Amazing how many Pakistan games go entirely their way to half way, and then swing back to their opponents.

Cricinfo suggesting Agar or Neser will come in for Holland. Can't imagine they'll go in with a spinner fewer myself.

Starts in seven hours.

Apparently, is is a bit op a green top. What that means in Dubai, I am not sure. 40 minutes of seamer's delight, followed by "as you were, gentlemen"?

Not sure what the latest is on team makeup, but I understood that Neser and the other bloke (not Agar) were on standby for Starc...?

Doggett?

Just read that only Atherton in Jo'burg has batted longer in the fourth innings to save a Test than UK did and no Aussie team has batted as long in Asia for a draw..

Might be the breakthrough innings where we look back and say UK finally realised his undoubted talent.

Time will tell.

Same team for Australia. Interesting.

Are the Australians checking the coins before the toss? I mean comon Paine, learn to call correctly.

The GOAT strikes. Four times in two overs. Pakistan in all kinds of trouble. It's not quite game over territory already, but it's not far off. No way this is a five wickets down by lunchtime pitch.

How can anyone not love the Goat. With those 4 wickets, he has jumped Brett Lee and Mitchell Johnson to become Australias 4th best wicket taker in tests :salute

Who would have thought that when he was struggling for recognition just a few years ago?

Four wickets for no addition to the total! On what's supposed to be a flat pitch but with a green blush to the surface. Superb. All four in six balls from Lyon.

The media will be surprised the team is unchanged. That wasn't flagged up.

Well done to Fakhar for a fifty on debut.

Did the bookmaker pay for a certain wicket down score at the interval?

australia might actually lose this game based on them only having one bowler capable of taking wicket here.
250 is probably a first innings winning total on this pitch.
