I dont get it, why is this considered a great catch? He gets hit by the ball, he falls over, and then finds as he's on the ground that the ball by some tragic fluke is resting on his right leg. If you are telling me he means to parry it with his left arm, then parry it with his right, then his left, then purposefully juggles the ball, then falling to the ground, with his left and right leg, to the point he accurately gauged in 0.02 seconds the exact way to hit the ball, so that it would drop straight into his lap, then fair play....

Its like claiming a skill when you pick 50 on the roulette wheel....

Indeed, tongue was firmly in cheek.

Gonna have to beat the recent fourth innings batting record to save this.

followed by the unlucky..., no, careless dismissal of Labuschagne. Hopefully it will be a lesson well learnt.

Not caught any of this, but what is the pitch like? It was supposed to be a road, but both teams have failed to put up "road" like scores...... massive errors with the bat, or is there something in this wicket? Either way, its going to take a mammoth effort for Australia to avoid a hiding here.

Half of the wickets to the seamer plus a run out so it's not the traditional trial by spin that has done for the Aussies.

Mitch2 gets one back.

I saw about 3 minutes before my free stream packed it in. Just have watched the delights of the Cricinfo feed every so often.

Watched a fair bit of it. Wouldn't call it a road , but certainly not a minefield either ...mainly some lousy batting by players on both sides over the first couple of days...Pakistan second innings putting things in perspective.

Have to praise Abbas though he has bowled superbly :clap Australia depend very heavily on Lyon and he can't do it alone : Holland no impact , though Labuschagne is promising (pity he hasn't been able to do anything with the bat : that run out was a classic piece of daydreaming !)

Can't see Australia getting out of this one...

Run out for 64. Four down.

What's the plan? Bat until tea and then declare?
