Root averages 39.8 in 2018 (still the best in the side I expect). One hundred, in the last innings of the India series.

Buttler averages a bit more than Root this year.

Foakes has had a lot of the strike hence why Root has been stuck for a while, but it's been a good partnership

Sri Lankan spinners have been dissapointing though to be honest, no control, meaning they can't build up any levels of threat, lot of work to be done by them in this last session
