Why were the matches added? Is it the local board being greedy, is it England forcing it, or was it agreed? Seems amateur hour stuff.

Sounds like the Windies board are the ones losing out. They are essentially going to end up staging the two games without much incoming revenue, while Skys purchasing power for future negotiations seems to force them to give the game away without forcing the issue.

Best crowd of the limited overs series, apparently.

Two wickets each for Jordan and Curran. Pooran off to a good start.

Why did Plunkett bowl four overs and Jordan only three?
:hmmm
West indies 160-8

Pooran 58 from 37
Bravo 28

Curran 4-36
Jordan 2-16
Rashid 1-15

Actually got a ton in the Tests and one in the ODIs, but didn't go past 50 otherwise.

The reverse of his usual problem.

But instead of Jos Buttler in at five, here's Joe Denly.

Halfway with only three down seems ok, but I feel a collapse like a trawlerman senses a coming storm.

England batting with more dogged defensive determination than they did in either of the first two Tests.

Brainless from bairstow, not needed at all

Just had to knock it around for an easy win

Now windies have half a chance given how we like a collapse

Middle order looks a bit dodgy too.

Sam and Joe together at the crease is giving me a 1990s middle class parents' baby first name XI vibe.

Maybe Jacob due in next?

Actually, Tom will do just as well.

Fifty partnership off six overs for Joe and Sam.

Holder wins the toss and will bowl.

Obed McCoy another left armer makes his debut.
