As I said at the start of play today, people saying the deck did nothing were a bit ill informed imo. Starting to see that Windies might have actually batted pretty well yesterday, and that especially with the new ball, England bowled terribly.

Moeen bowled terribly as well

Him and curran have away lots of easy runs on what is a fairly helpful wicket

Even Jason at his pace is getting the ball to zip after pitching.

Wicket next ball. Total rubbish by Moeen. Duck for him as Alzarri takes catch in the ropes.

48/6 from 19.5 overs. Roach 4/13

Roach misses the hat trick. However, he has put WI into a very strong position in his first spell itself.

Jos gives easy catch to Shane Dowrich. 5/13 for Roach :salute

49/7 in 21/1. England will be lucky to get past a T10 score at this rate.

It is funny though!

When England are bad there is no other team on the planet as diabolical.

Windies score did look pretty decent, but appears pitch has deteriorated since day one.

Doesn't help also when you have two frightened rabbits setting the tone at the top of the order. Where has that new England guns blazing spirit gone in the batting.

Capitulation pure and simple.

Still amusing though.

It's Durham-esque. The inevitable early wickets exposing the middle order to the new ball with disastrous consequences.

Wicket has not deteriorated. The Widies bowlers have hit the deck very well this innings to get pace and bounce. No dismissal of a ball that has stayed low. In fact I didn't see a single ball which stayed low.
