Sixer. :clap First of the match. Well middled by Kraigg to deposit it over the ropes. No spin on that so turned out to be very safe stepping out towards the pitch of the ball..

Kraigg scoring with another big shot stepping down the wicket, Moeen does not has the doosra so less risk unless he totally misses the ball.

Definitely looks like a pitch that would suit broad much more than curran

is Curran going to be successful when the ball isnt going to swing outside England? I really struggle to see how he can be at times, but hope Im wrong.

I suppose they hope his left arm variation will help

Hes not got any pace though, consistently in the range id consider to be pretty military medium. If hes bowling gun barrel straight at that pace, and not moving the ball from the deck, then I cant see him being a threat even if he consistently bowls in good areas. You'd just block him all day and punish the bad stuff... and when he bowls bad, the Windies openers have shown how easy it is to dispatch such tame bowling.

To have success curran will have to be laser accurate like a philander bowling at the pace he does

At this stage he isn't anything like that accurate

Bowling change. Rashid into the attack to bowl the 28th. Much earlier than what he was getting to bowl in previous series.

Only Rashid has a wrong one which actually turns..as much as a normal spin at least. That variation is required in Mooen's and Jack's bowling to make their bowling more effective.Rashid inspite of more variations has not achieved what he should have. Needs to be consistent like other leg spinners.

Could have gone on to score more had he played straight instead of sweeping at a full and straight delivery to Moeen's 1st (or 2nd) over.

Disagree with Leach needing a wrong un when he can extract bounce and turn in his standard deliveries.
