Needs to be consistent like other leg spinners.

Disagree with Leach needing a wrong un when he can extract bounce and turn in his standard deliveries.

It's a variation and if batsmen cannot pick it from the hand, then they are risking stumping while stepping out. Something which Kraigg easily did to Moeen twice this session and scoring 10 runs of two balls like that. Doosras are scored off as well by inside out shots by some batsmen but it involves higher risk. The batsmen too once unsure which way it will turn, are restricted from stepping out and thus the ball also gets to spin more by the time it reaches the batsman, than had they played on front foot smothering the spin.

Two slips and short gully for Jimmy. England slip cordon standing up so it seems the pace of the wicket will be an issue here in this test.

Shadab, Ish, Rashid, Kuldeep, Yuz, Yasir all bowl the wrong ones. However, it's true that offspinners are lacking the wrong ones nowadays. I don't recollect any current playing offspinner with that skill.

100 up for WI for just 1 wicket :clap

The only dropped chance was Keaton at SL off Rashid's bowling. Apart from that WI have done well.

Plenty of carom and googly bowlers. The doosra is dead.

A wrong un is specific to a leg/wrist spinner, the equivalent for a finger spinner is the doosra. I dont think there is such thing as a wrong un for a finger spinner, unless its a defunct name for the doosra. Both the doosra and wrong un are balls that spin away from the orthodox direction for the grip. So a doosra and wrong un cant exist as two separate things.

Shai Hope must hate England. He only seems to know how to bat against us. I think his only hundreds came in that one game a while back... since, his best score in quite a lot of games is 67. Average 20 since that series.... and low and behold, he turns up and looks solid today.

Good to see West Indies competitive. Quite a lot of opinions floating round that they would be annihilated, it would be good to get a close series.

Stokes in bouncer-enforcer mode apparently picks up the wicket.

Classic WI, batters getting a start and not going on. Typical scores, in the forties.

Let's see what Bravo does on return.

Kraigg out for 40. I hope this isn't the start of a collapse.

Apparently had the opportunity to qualify for England early in his career, when on a school scholarship in the UK.
