The rules are crazy when it comes to these types of deliveries. Technology proves its out, but then its not out?Not sure what the umpire was doing, it looked dead, and it was dead.

Crap rules

Umpire probably thought the ball did a bit too much as it pitched at off-stump. The element of doubt combined with DRS technology available was enough not to give it out.

Somewhere in the laws, there is a line saying "In any case of dispute, the umpires decision is final" or words to that effect.

Seems to be the way. Hits 3 boundaries, gets a ball cut him in half off the seam, goes back to hitting. Not sure its the type of pitch you want to hang around on....
