Latham knocking on the door of a ton. Wonder if I'll wake up and find they've broken that record NZ opening stand.

Everyone scoring at ODI rates in a Test looks like one of BD's problems. Especially way from home. It worked for Soumya and Mahmudullah I suppose, but that's still a hefty loss.

Seen some footage, Day 1 as good as wiped out but by heck the Wakefield monument part of the ground looks parched.

New Zealand in with a slim chance of salvaging this.

Ross Taylor's third double hundred and an ever impressive bowling display sees Bangladesh trail by 141 with three batsmen down.

The Kiwis might still win this...a lead of 221 on first innings going into the final day.

Bangladesh 80-3 at stumps.

Bangladesh's tour of New Zealand has been called off following an attack on two Christchurch mosques, which police said involved "multiple fatalities". The Bangladesh team was en route to the Al Noor mosque for Friday prayers at the time of the attack but escaped to the nearby Hagley Oval. They are currently in lockdown at their team hotel.

The attack was described by prime minister Jacinda Ardern as "one of New Zealand's darkest days".

The team stayed in their bus when the players saw signs of the attack. They were initially barred from leaving the bus but, after several minutes, disembarked and ran through Hagley Park to the ground. They then went back to their hotel.
