Gayle scores the fastest 50 by a West Indian...at the age of 39!
:o
Brings up his half-century off just 19 balls....

Nine sixes. Got 14 the other day. He has hit 16 before in a game v Zimbabwe.

I suppose he has to hit boundaries given he can't run.

The one sidedness of this game brings back memories of England v SL in the days of Jayasuriya and Murali.

Scraped home.

2-2 draw. Not too bad for England being away from home. But obvious anxiety around the bowlers.

That went well. :facepalm
A real horror shows and , barring a few individual performances here and there , both the test and ODI legs of this tour have been poor from England.

took 12 overs...... Gayle needs to sharpen up, because taking 12 overs when 10 would have done is just taking the ssip, tbh

T20 at 8pm today.

These are the likely sides according to the Guardian.

West Indies CH Gayle, JD Campbell, SD Hope (wkt), DM Bravo, SO Hetmyer, JO Holder (capt), CR Brathwaite, AR Nurse, D Bishoo, SS Cottrell, O Thomas.

England JM Bairstow, AD Hales, JE Root, DJ Malan, EJG Morgan (capt), SW Billings (wkt) JL Denly, DJ Willey TK Curran, CJ Jordan, AU Rashid.

England with less bowling than usual. Odd to go into a T20 with only five bowlers.
I always say that everybody's right.
