Seems in the end that the plodding knocks from Ambris, Hope and Chase lost it for them. But it is hard to blame them given the lack of support. And all WI's power hitters are at the IPL.

I think Ireland will be playing an extra spinner or two against WI next time!

Good game that I definitely didn't watch while I was at work.....

Shai Hope is now the first West Indian opener to score 4 back to back centuries.

Very long tail for WI today. 7 bowlers who you'd fancy could bowl 10 of needed. Maybe more of a warm up strategy rather than one they'll follow in the actual world cup.

Sorry to say this, but the future doesn't look so bright for Ireland when their attack is getting destroyed by John Campbell then Sunil Ambris.

They better hope some half decent county players discover some Irish grandparents sooner rather than later :halo:

Ireland 327-5

Stirling 77
Balbirnie 135
KOB 63

Gabriel 2-47

With the exception of Thomas, this is the same attack that's going to the World Cup...it's looking a bit toothless in these conditions.

West Indies 331-5 with two overs to spare.

Ambris 148
Chase 46
Carter 43 not out

The only two specialist batsmen in this side who are going to the World Cup didn't really get going....

Shai 30
Bravo 17
