Though, with both Starc and Hazelwood still under a cloud, it may swing to become the troubled department.

I see that Finch also bowled a full 10 overs - for just 41 runs. I assume he got MotM?

Australia seem to be showing their typical ability to get their s*** together and peak for a major tournament, while England are showing their typical ability to do the exact opposite...

Australia have gone from 7th in the rankings to 4th.

Suddenly seem like a dangerous team in the WC. English conditions might sought them out though.......

Looks a long back for Pakistan now, 4th wicket down.

If Maxwell could just become more consistent, then he would be so very handy.

Cummins, please may he stay Injury free for the next 5 years

Good time to get up and check Cricinfo - to 'see' the last two wickets fall.

Six wins in a row, all in Asia. Great for team confidence, and individual player confidence.

Seeing that Aus have been without their two most experienced bowlers as well as batsmen, the team seems very well balanced and has clicked suddenly.

Strange situation, with both Starc/Hazelwood probably pushing for a return in England, along with Smith/Warner. It will be A good challenge to the selectors to get that right. Especially with Richardson's injury, Starc, when fit, will slot back in to form a formidable opening pairing with Cummins, but Hazelwood will probably be a handy reserve. The batsmen situation continues.

and even longer, hopefully. He has had more than a career's worth of injury time already.

He seems like the next MJ, but with more control and bowls to a plan.

I still remember that debut in South Africa.

He just had that something about him. Even his calmness when batting to see out the victory. He was probably over bowled though. There was a fear that we would never see him bowl again for Australia.

These low scoring matches seem to be suiting Australian bats, might be different on a much easier batting pitch for this team. But winning 6 games straight away from home, that is very impressive.

Certainly seem to be running into some ODI form at the right time...

Wonder if fitting Warner and Smith back in might actually be a two edged weapon - logically two such good players have to come in ; but when you have a team performing so well changes can sometimes mess it up a bit . Need to pick the right ones to leave out : won't be Finch anyway.

Cummins getting better yet. Arguably the most important member of the team now...

When Pakistan chase like that, questions will be asked.

7 in a row for Australia though.

8 in a row, all in Asia, giving two series wins. Must be great team morale, would be a shame to ruin that by shoe-horning in Warner. Warner has been in fine form in the IPL though, with a century overnight.
