Pakistan tour of England 2019

Postby The Professor » Thu May 02, 2019 7:41 am

Pakistan looking quite strong in their warm-up games....hard to tell sometimes though. They dispatched Kent and Northamptonshire with some ease.

Last night they played some arbitrary T20 game against Leicestershire and belied a slow start to get to 200. Babar Azam (who I rate highly) got his maiden T20 century.
"It has been said of the unseen army of the dead, on their everlasting march, that when they are passing a rural cricket ground the Englishman falls out of the ranks for a moment to look over the gate and smile."

Phil Salt called up to replace the injured Malan for tomorrow's T20 in Cardiff. By sheer coincidence Salt was born in Wales!

Looks like a good recovery from Archer after a couple of expensive overs.

Surprising recall for Duckett ends early. Feels like a lot for England to get.

100 miles west of London and the rain is pretty steady. Rain delays in the game in Scotland too. Anyone think we have a chance of a result, never mind a full game?
