It's a bit cold so that might lessen the usual swing. This ball doesn't swing much in any conditions I don't think though.

With this weather they'd have been better off doing an It's a Knockout style competition with buckets and sponges.

Rain has stopped after a rather heavy shower, and there is a glow of light behind the clouds that I've not seen for a long time.

Imagine that the weather was like this for the next month and no more games played or completed, would New Zealand be the winners of the World Cup?

Match abandoned.

In the run up to the 2007 World Cup, the ICC demanded of the Organising Committee 10 year rainfall patterns of each venue before deciding to approve these Caribbean venues.

I wonder if they did the same in the lead up to the 2019 World Cup.

Handy point for NZ.

England v WI tomorrow. Got to fancy England if there's play.

It at the Rose Bowl. There's rain forecast overnight but actually looks clear from mid morning.

With Gayle, there's always that chance that a win will be taken completely out of reach.

Weather forecast isn't too bad for Southampton today. Should be a full game.

Lewis out to Woakes. England need to get Gayle early.

Buttler fit for England. Looks like England are unchanged. Still no Mo.

Gayle dropped, Roy off injured...

Looks ominous.
