tea seems late.... and there seems to be extra overs, so I'm guessing this is to catch up some of the time lost yesterday and that play will end up going on until 7pm

Think so. According to Warne only 50 odd overs were lost yesterday despite the washout so they must be trying to make up the rest over the next 4 days. Forecast tomorrow though suggests some rain in the afternoon.

Good fight back from these two :clap

Aussie bowling and ground fielding has been truly excellent today . Couple of drops marred the show a bit but Bancroft's screamer just about made up for them !

Only thing they've got wrong is two dreadful reviews. Umpiring last match must have scrambled their minds :)

Pace back now after tea ?

Might be inching towards a half decent score if we can get Don Bradman out early...twice.
A big if to say the least.

Well done to JB1 for the fifty.

Lyon equals the great DK Lillie for test wickets. Should go past that in the 2nd innings as long as Australia avoid the follow on.

He is only 7 wickets behind Daniel Vettori's total test wickets. Daniel played 113 test matches, Lyon is only in his 88th test :salute

2015 Trent Bridge, the Aussie line up was much better batting line up then this team. 60 all out is more than possible if Smith is removed.
