excellent win from England. Captain's knock from Morgan. Chased down 223 with nearly an over to spare. Remarkable really.

England kept on top of the asking rate all the way through apart from a couple of overs when YJB got out. Malan scratching around and then getting done like a kipper off Shamsi won't have pushed his name higher up the list. With one ball left from Steyn's 4th over the rate looked set to rise to almost 15, but Morgan hit that ball for six and one over later the rate was back to the original asking rate of 11. No mean feat that, because once the rate starts to climb at the back end of a match it's really hard to get it back under control, yet Morgan did it superbly.

I'm not the biggest of T20 fans, but I have to say that that series was of the very highest quality. It's a shame that it wasn't a 5 match series because I could have happily watched that level of T20 cricket for another week.

Both sides batted well, both sides held their nerve when it mattered and every match was won on the tightest of margins. Heartiest congratulations must go to both teams because both teams were excellent.

surprisingly, because he sometimes slips under the radar a bit, Morgan was the top run scorer in the series, I think. I'd have put money on that honour going to de Kock.

Rather bizarrely, Stokes' 8.33 was the best economy of all the bowlers who bowled in every game, (Pretorius was 8.14, but only bowled in 2) and only Ngidi had a better average than Stokes' 18.75

Good win by England, and a great series. England will no doubt be in the frame for the T20 world cup later in the year with the batting at their disposal, but the bowling attack still concerns me.

India will probably be favourites with a very strong all-round team, but home advantage will be strong for Australia, and most sides are capable of pulling off a win against most other sides on their day.

Can someone please explain to me why the team are off to Sri Lanka immediately? Why on Earth are we playing three tours (eight test matches) this winter? Whose bright idea was that?
