Stokes hitting 6's... well it seems he hasnt given up :lmao

Charging down the wicket doesnt tell me he's out there for the draw.

I mean, 1-0 up in the series, and 200 runs to get in 3 hours of play, I cant help but feel charging the pace bowlers and reverse slog sweeping are the way to go atm.

been a few wickets while I was out. This feels pretty much like last chance saloon for England in this game. If this doesn't come off (and it might) then England have a long tail and no recent history of hanging on for the draw

England looking good here. No specialist spinner for NZ and an old ball. Plus Jamieson absent.
I always say that everybody's right.

Problem is one wicket really hurts England. And I cant see these rattling off 200 while going at 6 an over without getting out.

Although they have scored about 35 runs in 10 minutes... I guess we can take the draw off the table.

Dont really understand these tactics from NZ. Short and wide when someone is swinging is just asking for it

Bloody hell. Run rate 12 this session.

They aren't going to die wondering, are they? Get the runs or get out.

100 partnership at 8 an over now.

Bairstow doing what Bairstow does and finally producing the goods when in last chance saloon. Probably guaranteed himself another 10 games where he'll barely break 20.

Still, can't fault the intent.

If Jonny gets out on 99, I cant imagine the conversation with Stokes after :lmao

The run was there, but poor Ben has clearly had something go in his leg.
