Buttler/Hales/Malan/Stokes/Brook/Moeen/Livingstone/Woakes/Curran/Rashid/Wood.

No Jordan. Shame about Topley. Both missing makes the bowling look a bit suboptimal.

Good looking side. No Bairstow is a blow, but Brook might be a big bonus.

England will chase.

That was a mixed bag. England bowling was excellent. And their catching was even better. But the batsmen only just get a pass for that rather stuttery chase... Livingstone the only one to impress.

Got the points though. The main thing.

NZ will be happy after their impressive win. Australia very much not so and plenty to mull over. This does indeed look to be The Group of Death...

Not sure why it's being made out to be a surprise or upset that NZ won. They were finalists last year. I thought we were past underestimating NZ in tournaments. Apparently not so.

I suppose Ireland have achieved what they set out for. But a hard day for them.

Babar flops in the big match. Out without scoring anything. Indian bowlers having a wonderful time getting some swing.

Rizwan offering a very simple catch. No control over the hook shot. Easy catch for Bhuvi.

15/2.

Will be interesting to see if the remaining Pakistan batters can handle the pressure as both the Pak openers who have been backbone of Pakistani batting having contributed just 4 runs.

Big task for the middle order which lacks quality.

Shami hasn't started well. Lacked the control.
