Didn't England win easily until Jason Roy got injured, and then lose everything until he returned from injury....

No one can remember the group stages of a cricket WC. Nine round robin fixtures per side!

I'd look it up but I can't be bothered with weeding out all the cookies afterwards.

Bairstow goes. Root could do with a score.

Doesn’t get one though, nor does Brook

Malan…… different altogether. He’s answered his critics this last few matches. In good touch

Well placed again though after Brook and Root chewed up a few overs.

Bit of a collapse around the 40th over, same as the last game.

Stodgy from Livingstone. It's all tailing off again. 350 looked possible at half way.

Got the impression England were losing interest in Mo's spin, but was the key bowler today.

Overton is injured so he misses the Ireland games. In his place comes Tom Hartley. They should also play Roy and Archer to give them match practice.

England's squad to play Ireland.

Zak Crawley (captain), Rehan Ahmed, Harry Brook, Brydon Carse, Ben Duckett (vice-captain), Sam Hain, Tom Hartley, Will Jacks, Matthew Potts, Phil Salt, George Scrimshaw, Jamie Smith, Luke Wood.

Presumably Mr. Roy will play if fit.

Wood and Rashid are currently injured.

WC squad must be finalised by 28 Sept.

Matches played (ODI) list A

Crawley (3) 26
Ahmed (1) 8
Brook (6) 21
Carse (10) 19
Duckett (6) 77
Hain (0) 62
Hartley (0) 3
Jacks (2) 24
Potts (1) 11
Salt (14) 30
Scrimshaw (0) 4
Smith (0) 15
Wood (1) 5

Can't believe how little list A cricket most of these players have played. Has Crawley had any captaincy experience? The 3 ODIs he played were against Pakistan, with 5 debutants, which England won. Looking forward to watching this.
