New Zealand's record against Australia the past 3 decades has been abysmal.

1 test victory out of 30. I did not know that it was so bad - admittedly the two countries don't play a huge amount of tests against each other, but this was during a period that NZ won the test championship.

Now knowing this does not fix the problem of not having won the Bledisloe Cup in a long, long time, but it does make it slightly easier to handle.

True, but it looks as if Australia hasn't played away in New Zealand since 2015, i.e. managed to avoid playing them away while they were among the strongest teams in the world.

Now they are on the decline compared to where they were a couple of years ago.

NZ doing very well atm. Currently 125 runs ahead, still 7 wickets in hand, and both Ravindra and Mitchell have really upped the pace.
