Problems for Pakistan at the top of the order...who opens now Ayub is out? Do they go back to Abdullah Shafique who's form has been horrendous lately? Does Babar fill in temporarily at the top? Is there another option?

looks as though Pakistan have hit upon a winning formula for home matches. Although I have to question why they bothered picking a seamer who then only bowled one over in the entire match. Shame about the new essential groundsman tools of rakes, scarifiers, cling film, heaters and hand grenades

Makes me laugh because the commentators will pound the Windies batsman for playing poor shots to get out, but a few balls into the innings it was already clear that it was pointless to try to play proper cricket on this surface, may as well whack and hope. The Pakistan innings lasted about 40 overs... so Windies are coming in on a pitch which is basically day 1, early session 2 in terms of wear... Within 3 overs we see one ball jag back from quite a way outside off stump to hit leg stump. Next ball, a full ball bounces way over waist height. And then a few balls later when Noman gets it at the other end, similar length ball, rolls on the ground.
The ICC should have cancelled the test match at that point. A pitch offering right angle turn with 1 meter variations in bounce after less than a ODI innings worth of cricket is flat out not fit for international cricket. Its not rewarding good bowling, not rewarding good batting, just a lottery.

Two whole innings in one day! Kudos to those batters who at least got a start.

Windies were 30-7 at one point after Noman Ali took his hat-trick, to think they would end up with a lead at the close... almost incomprehensible.
