England squad

Harry Brook (Yorkshire – captain), Gus Atkinson (Surrey), Sonny Baker (Hampshire), Tom Banton (Somerset), James Coles (Sussex), Jordan Cox (Essex), Mason Crane (Glamorgan), Henry Crocombe (Sussex), Sam Curran (Surrey), Liam Dawson (Hampshire), Ben Duckett (Nottinghamshire), Will Jacks (Surrey), Jamie Overton (Surrey), Adil Rashid (Yorkshire), Joe Root (Yorkshire), Josh Tongue (Nottinghamshire)

Biggest news I guess is, Mason Crane called up to the white ball squad for the first time, Jofra gets a rest im happy with that to be honest, played a lot of cricket this year give him a rest, other than that no real suprises in there, Still no Bethell so Banton will continue to push his case at the top of the order, The pace of Crocombe might be needed on the flat Pakistan decks

Tres, Sarah Taylor and Southee are part of coaches being rotated and aren't going, instead, Jeetan Patel, Mike yardy, David Saker and Carl Hopkinson are on the trip

Disappointing. I thought he'd be an automatic pick in Asia.

Curran is back.

They obviously dont rate Rehan which is shame however I agree with Athers when he says he is a batsman who bowls not the other way round..

I would like to see Rehan in there I just think the hierarchy don't rate him very highly which is a shame I think...

Charith Asalanka return to the national side was very short lived, axed from the SL squad for this Tri series and the t20s they have with Pakistan afterwards....Avishka Fernando returns in his place....Wasindu Hasaranga has been dropped as well

Babar got to 45, and then got out to a short ball.

Saad looks promising.

But no. SL fold in a hurry.

Presume these two are favourites to meet in the final, given it's in Pakistan.

Baker going for runs. Could maybe do with another spinner in for him.
