Valliant effort there CF, sounds like the league was intensely competed this year if your lads narrowly missed out on promotion.

at the moment im undecided.........i really enjoy the captaincy and have done for the past 2 seasons, but it is draining, it is an all week commitment, with phoning round etc alongside full time work..

we shall see..

See where you're coming from - club captain for my main friendly side got sick of it and threatened to pull the plug, mainly due to struggling a full side at back end of last season.

I suppose one saving grace is a cricket season lasts for 5 months and not an all year round commitment.

i love captaincy i really do, ive had 2 seasons and would love to do it for a long time, but im still undecided lol.

There shall be a review of the season from all the club's sides and also to see if the captains wish to stand again next year.

i missed out on player of the season for our club, but was very happy to recgonise achivements of many of the players in our club this year :)

we've had the AGM, the club captains were announced.

I have decided to stay on as captain for my 3rd season :D I love doing the job, and im determined to get the side promoted, having just missed out on it for past 2 seasons.
