Going into my 2nd season of captaincy, and this blog is for my updates throughout the season, as i reveal how my side's season goes..

i have a pre-season friendly today

its a home game, i will be online throughout the day, on my mobile when my side's batting or at tea

i will post updates of scorecards etc...and do a report on the game afterwards

game has been put back to 1pm start, toss will take place at around quarter to 1.

PRE SEASON FRIENDLY-

I lost the toss and my team is batting

My side in batting order

After 12 overs my side are 80-2 50 over game....Hunt went for 40, and Hope went for 16.

27 overs gone, 125-4

hunt fell for a brilliant 75.....

im pleased with the way the innings is going

Seems like it is in a good position to kick-on. Will we see a Captain CF 50* from 24 balls?

hmmm not sure lol, possibly...although its a friendly, so am giving some of the other lads a chance, i wouldnt usually bat 8, i usually bat 7 at the lowest...

Seam bowling allrounder,if I am not mistaken.

I'm not going to play cricket for my club this summer. I have decided to retire.

I hardly ever bowled which was strange considering i was a bowler but when i did bowl, i did relatively well:

5 wickets
Bowling average: 15.6
Economy: 4.51

adi, im a left arm fast medium, bowling all-rounder

i have gone in with 3 fast bowlers, myself includeed, one spinner, i have another seam bowling all rounder in my side i can use, and i have a couple of part timers i can use, who arent bad...


UPDATE:

after 42 overs my side are 200-8, been a bit of a collaspe, i myself only made 15 today, however i will hope to contrubite with the ball.....greenish surface, i would say 230 is competitive today
