IMO Viv

King Vivy.

Pretty much a draw. Viv for doing it without a helmet. Lara for his style. Viv for his belligerence. Lara for his records...

Lara is the best player I've seen, so him. Viv was as good, but didn't have the hunger like Lara did.

I voted Lara in the end.

He did, but in a different way.

in the same different way that Prince Naseem's opponents feared him compared to how Mike Tyson's opponents feared him.


Maybe that's not an accurate analog, but it makes my point somewhat. Lara's skill may have been feared, but not the man.

Both could do the same damage, so maybe Tyson, and Foreman?

Lara for all his artistry could smack it around a bit, and of course score by the bucket load.

No denying he could, and he was maybe the most stylish of batsmen I have seen.

I haven't voted for a reason - it would be a disservice to whomever I didn't vote for. Then again, we have been given no criteria for the question.
