well, they have a comfortable lead at the top of the table, a great bowling lineup so they wont trip.... who else will beat them (assuming Aus actually do).
Indians played well, but lost. Pak, SL, Eng.... don't think so.

England. Still haven't found even a single quality batsman who can bat in all conditions and has good average.Add to it, now even KP is gone.

Swann's retirement is going to cause them huge problems, given that they are not keen to pick match winner Monty who has good ratio of five fers to innings bowled, in the playing 11.I don't see their other spinners bowling 35+ overs in innings while managing to choke runs or at least pick many five fers in series or do both even on Asian wickets.

The only player of note they have found is Ben, who picks himself in the playing 11 on his batting and bowling performances alone.

The negatives though clearly outperform the positives.Won't be surprised if England fall in rankings.

I'm surprised there are a lot of votes for England in this category, bearing in mind they will only play two test series in 2014 and they are at home to Sri Lanka and India.

India have at least got a couple of replacements in last few years. So we are doing well in those aspects as compared to many other countries.England has struggled to even find one new player now as replacement to previous retirement.

England have a lot of options in all departments through a strong County Cricket and Player Development system, it's whether the ECB can fully utilise this. It's possible we may see players who represented England in the past make a comeback (James Taylor, Steven Davies, Adil Rashid, Graham Onions to name a few).

I think once you get Ramaul,Roach and Gayle back in the side, they will be better.

Gayle? In Test cricket? :lmaoagain
Didn't he play the India tests and looked as much of a Test player as Darren Sammy?

In his last 30 tests Chris Gayle has 8 x 100's, and averaged 52..... in fact since that away series in OZ in, what say 2009 or 2010 ish??? he has been superb as a test match opener.

In fact could make a case over that period he was the most consistent in world cricket.
