New Zealand. Boult and Southee in particular look very exciting.

NZ. I know the WI team they just beat wasn't the strongest but I've the feeling they can build on this with the players they've got and get some improved results in 2014. They've got some decent-good players but the confidence and right mentality hasn't been there.

The current New Zealand team looks rather exciting, so many talented prospects with years of cricket ahead of them. Come 2016 they will give Australia a good hiding.

I would rather have a 5 test match series against New Zealand in 2015 than another Ashes overkill, purely because of the superior quality of opposition.

What, and lose 6 nil in a five game series? :dunno

I'd love to be able to say that it will be Australia, but given that we have a tour of South Africa after this current warm-up series, and then away to Pakistan and home again to India, the next 12 months will be tough for the baggygreen. New Zealand seem to be moving in the right direction, but I cannot help being mightily impressed with India. Their batting compares with South Africa, IMHO. They'll finish 2014 as the second ranked Test team in the world, just ahead of Australia, who'll run the Saffas close, but will ultimately come up short.

Depends how you measure "most improved"
If ICC rankings are to go by, SA cant improve... Ind can at the most go 1 level up and so on.
But looking at next year, I feel SA will remain No 1, Ind No 2, Aus/Eng at 3 & 4 Pak, Sl, WI bringing the rear. NZ have to potential to jump up, but as usual they may exceed in some series and fail in some others.
So don't see much upheaval for next year

NZ, Aus might climb a place
Eng, Pak, SL might drop a place.
SA will stay firm.
Ind might slip to No 3 or stay at No 2.
WI may climb 1 position too.
