OK! Just read had a look through and Lumb, Buttler, Ashwin and Guptill were wrongly selected.... They're not statistical matchwinners after all! So

Australia 7
South Africa 6
Sri Lanka 6
India 4
West Indies 4
England 3
Pakistan 3
NZ 2

Or something.
I always say that everybody's right.

Australia 6
South Africa 6
Sri Lanka 6
India 4
West Indies 4
England 3
Pakistan 3
NZ 2

Johnson is out, so I've amended the above. Bollinger has only played two T20s against top eight sides.

The more I study the teams the more I find it difficult to have any idea who can win. watching today's game slow bowling will hold sway more often than not and that suggest a team from the sub continent will win. Having said that the Aussies have a frightening batting line up and it's difficult to imagine them all failing at once.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Only one Yorkshire player. There must be teams out there with more.

Daft as it sounds Australia (Aaron Finch, Mitchell Starc) and South Africa (Morne Morkel, David Miller) have more Yorkshire players in their squad than England do (Tim Bresnan)

Just one for NZ and India. There's the Aussie coach too.

SA take it with Imran Tahir.

India don't have a snowflakes' hope in hell of reaching the semis, let alone winning it. Anyone voting for us needs to get his head checked.
(btw Yuvraj is still a force in this format. 77* off 34 and 72 off 36 in his last 2 T20Is)

Aus, SL and Pak easily stand out. With MJ out, I'm probably slightly inching towards SL but Aus look very strong too. The pitches don't look like they'll facilitate big scores, so Pakistan very much in contention too with their attack.

I had my head examined, and my psyche said, didn't Shanky say Pakistan couldn't play spin...?

Pakistan have the bowlers to defend 130 though. India are neither here nor there. Batting is better than Pakistan's but not really that strong and the bowling isn't good enough to make up for that. On spinning tracks, if MSD can, for once, keep his personal agendas against Mishra aside and play 3 spinners, we may yet do ok against sides that don't play spin well. But I fail to see how we are favourites.
