England usually benefit from shortened games, because they can't negotiate the middle overs. Certainly, England have done well in shortened games in recent times against India.

I think Aussies will not make the next round as they are very much dependent on other results.

I did think the Aussies would go further than they look like doing though.

wow - this many of us really thought Aus would win it in BD???

I guess, to be fair no MJ may hvae had an impact ... would have been interesting to see if he could really make an impact in BD. Also, Maxwell didn't seem to bowl enough, even Smith may have been worth a go
