I reckon England will win 3-1. Both teams have obviously got their issues - India unable to win away from home, and England... well... unable to win anywhere. I just think that the close series loss to Sri Lanka will galvanize the Poms, who do have an advantage of having an Australian in their line-up. And the English bowling attack do seem more likely to take 20 wickets in a match, although I do think that India will manage it once or twice. The first sign of trouble with England, however, will result in the usual knee-jerking, with KP making as much noise as he can about coming back in from the cold. Both captains are under huge pressure in this series, but I'd say that Cook is more likely to lose the armband than MSD, who seems to have a "job-for-life" deal. That said, I think Virat will have a big series, subsequently making a huge case for a changing of the guard. Rain will come to England's rescue on one or two occasions (as usual), Following the third Test in this series, Alistair Cook will be in the last 12 months of his captaincy.
"Hey, doll. Could you scare up another round for our table over here? And tell the cook this is low grade dog food. I've had better food at the ballgame, you know? This steak still has marks from where the jockey was hitting it." Al Czervik, aka Rodney Dangerfield in "Caddyshack" (1980)
