All the big counties have got themselves into the top division this time. Surrey seem the least predictable, and either winners or relegation candidates. I've gone for perennial relegation favourites Somerset, again, plus Lancashire, whose batting looks week.

Somerset and Surrey - supplementing playing squads with overseas players does not guarantee success. If anything it is more likely to be a disadvantage should a team be battling to avoid relegation.

Surrey because they never know what their best team is from one match to the next

Hampshire because they aren't Durham, who I think will finish 7th

Two votes for Hampshire, none for Notts.
