Cook might play more test but not the same as playing the same amount of time.
if he goes the current scoring rate he would beat tendulkar at the age of 37.

For cook to play longer than Tendulkar Cook would have to retire at 2030.

TBH when a players reaches 30+ always hard to know when they will retire.
Not sure cook would last till 37 or 38.

my head is saying after the next ashes.

With someone with his technical issues he could actually have another dud period and not sure he can survive another poor period of scoring runs and with increasing age makes it more likely he would be on a decline.

essentially his future career depends on that Ashes.
