August Test Player of the Month
Posted: Thu Sep 01, 2016 4:10 pmEveryone loves an underdog and in the month of August West Indies were emphatically the underdogs when India rolled into town. Despite this they put up quite the fight and ended up winning hearts and minds....and even some games. The stand out performer for me was Roston Chase.
His 137* in the Second Test was the highlight of his month but he also showed his worth with the ball getting 8 wickets across the two games in August averaging 29 - not bad for a batting all rounder.
