A bit early for Ashwin. Feels like a toss up between Chandrasekhar and Kumble, and perhaps the latter should take it for his batting as a tie break. But Chandra was a unique bowler, and brings some older time mystery to the team. My second spinner can't be the likeable Anil therefore, as I won't want two leggies.

Kumble.

Bedi and Chandrasekhar are the most natural selections for me, Gupte was a little before my time. I do feel that Kumble is underrated by the majority of people though.

My dad rates Dilip Doshi and S Gupte very high. They didnt get the opportunities they deserved, is what he says. Were better than most of the spinners he has seen.
